Vinod Lall, Ph.D., CSCP is the co-chair and professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management at the AACSB accredited Paseka School of Business (PSB) at 色狼窝 (MSUM) with teaching responsibilities in supply chain management, operations management, prescriptive analytics and project management.
Since 2003, he has been involved in delivering a graduate course in logistics and supply chain management to US Navy personnel through the Department of Engineering Management at Old Dominion University. Every Fall Semester, he teaches an Executive MBA course in Operations Management for American University Bulgaria (AUBG) at the Elieff Center in Sofia, Bulgaria. Other international teaching assignments at the graduate level have taken Vinod to Ecuador, India and Thailand. Previously, he developed and taught online courses for Kaplan College.com, a division of The Washington Post and has developed online content for several institutions.
Vinod’s recent research activities have focused on the application of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) for selection decisions and the application of the Six Sigma methodology to services and transactional data. He has an active research agenda and published thirteen peer reviewed journal articles between 2010 and 2019.
In August 2006, Vinod earned the Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) credential by APICS, The American Society for Operations Management. Between 2013 and 2018, he served as a member of the CSCP subcommittee. The subcommittee is responsible for developing and maintaining the CSCP body of knowledge.
Vinod and his wife Rita have been married for 33 years. They are the proud parents of two daughters - Naveena (27) and Anjali who unexpectedly passed away in June 2014 at the age of 18.
