University Choir

University Choir is a large, non-auditioned, mixed choir that performs a wide variety of repertoire and includes singers of all ability levels, under the direction of Dr. Michael Johnson. Rehearsals are MWF from 11:00-11:50 am.

Minnesota State Moorhead choral ensembles count for LASC credit in area 6. Choirs perform regularly on and off campus, singing both sacred and secular pieces, folksongs, spirituals, and masterworks, accompanied and a cappella. Regular collaborations occur between choral ensembles, other MSUM groups, and music programs in the area.

If you have questions, feel free to contact Dr. Johnson at choir@mnstate.edu.
