Information Technology provides technology tools, services and support for achieving success at 色狼窝.

The majority of the Information Technology webpage and content has been moved to the new . This new portal will include a knowledge base and comprehensive list of all MSUM technology resources. You can find helpful information to assist you which include:

  • Remote Support & Chat
    We continue to offer remote assistance to your computer as well as live chat with help desk associates during open Help Desk hours.
  • Knowledge Base Articles
    You can view articles and find information to “Help yourself” through common issues such as activating a StarID or accessing your email. If more help is needed, you can create a Help Desk Incident from the KB article you are viewing or from the support home page.
  • Create IT Tickets
    Log an "Incident" request for an unplanned interruption to an IT service or reduction in the quality of an IT service. Submit a "Service" request for something to be provided, information, advice, a standard change or access to an IT service.
  • Ticket History
    You will be able to view, correspond, and view any updates to your tickets with IT right from this portal.

  • ID Card replacement notifications
    MSUM will be implementing a new ID card security protocol next spring. To implement this change all employees must have a current style ID card.  Messages from the email address:  msum_id_card_replacement@lists.mnstate.edu will be sent each month reminding employees, with old style cards,  to get their ID cards replaced.
